We have been taking students from schools and universities for more than 15 years. We are more than happy to share  our combined experiences and knowledge with students who are considering Physiotherapy as a career, and the Physiotherapy university students who need a total of 1000 hours of clinical placements as part of their degree course.

We receive no payment for these placements.

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS

Work experience students are organised through the work experience placement companies, through the schools themselves or occasionally directly with the student themselves.

These placements are usually only one or two weeks duration but we are flexible, so just ring and ask.

UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

University students come to us from nine of the 30 or so universities that currently run the BSc (Hons) course in Physiotherapy.

We provide 1:1 clinical education that will include musculo-skeletal medicine; sacro-pelvic dynamics; Interferential Therapy and acupuncture. We have a wide range of books as well as computers and internet access.

We work hard to provide an enjoyable experience for patients and students alike!

You may need transport, as we are in a somewhat rural location and but only about a mile from the train station - south of Bishops Stortford - with a good taxi service - about £3.50 a trip.

Accommodation can be arranged but please phone Jean in good time if you need somewhere to stay.

Contact Jean Simpkins, Receptionist

01279 654020.

Jean is your point of contact at the Centre if you are a student/parent/school etc. She holds the diary and makes all the arrangements.

All students are asked to bring their own lunch, or bring money to buy from the local sandwich company who deliver in the mornings. All drinks are provided free by Stortford Grange.
